Will a Hygienie Cover fit my couch?
All Hygienie Covers are made to your individual couch measurements. We've made covers for hundreds of different couch styles, including standard beauty beds, electric aesthetic chairs, hydraulic couches, wider spa beds and more unusual couch shapes. Our Standard Range covers couches up to a maximum length of 200cm and a maximum width of 72cm. If your couch measures 73cm or more in width, choose our Extra Wide Treatment Couch Cover. Still unsure? What's the difference between a Standard and an Aesthetic cover?
The Standard Treatment Couch Cover is designed for traditional flat, square or rectangular treatment couches. The Aesthetic Treatment Couch Cover is designed for reclining aesthetic beds and treatment chairs with adjustable sections. If you're unsure which style you have, send us a photograph. Will the cover move when my couch is upright?
Our Aesthetic Couch Covers are designed to work with reclining treatment beds. The adjustable elastic fastenings at the top and bottom help keep the cover secure when the couch moves between flat and seated positions, and while clients get on and off the bed. Each cover is made to your measurements for a tailored fit rather than a loose, one-size-fits-all finish.
What are additional drops?
Additional drops add extra length and width to provide a little more coverage around the sides, top and bottom of your treatment couch. Some customers prefer a closer fit to the exact couch dimensions, while others prefer additional coverage. If you're unsure which option would look best on your couch, send us a photograph and measurements, and we'll be happy to advise.
Do I need rounded or square corners?
This depends on the shape of your treatment couch. Rounded corners work beautifully on couches with curved edges, while square corners suit more traditional rectangular couch shapes. We can often tell from a photograph, so if you're unsure, send us a picture before your cover goes into production.
Can I use a heated blanket?
Yes. A heated blanket can be used underneath your Hygienie Cover. We advise against leaving continuous heat on for prolonged periods of four hours or more, as extended heat exposure may affect the specialist material over time.
Does the material feel sticky against the skin?
No. The specialist material has a soft-touch, non-sticky, sweat-free finish and has been selected for both professional performance and client comfort. Many of our customers use Hygienie Covers for facials, waxing, aesthetics, massage and other treatments where clients may have direct skin contact with the cover.
Can I use Hygienie Covers for waxing?
Yes. Hygienie Covers are used by waxing professionals for both strip wax and hot wax treatments. Hard wax can generally be peeled away once set. For soft or strip wax, place a wax strip over the wax and remove it as you would during a treatment. Avoid using wax solvents on the cover, as solvent-based products may affect the material. For intimate waxing or additional targeted protection, our Mini Treatment Mat can also be used on top of the couch.
How do I clean my Hygienie Cover?
Use a clear antibacterial spray or suitable clinical wipe. After disinfecting, wipe the surface with a clean, damp cloth to remove any product residue and allow the cover to dry fully before use. The specialist material itself has antimicrobial and antifungal properties and has been selected specifically for professional environments. Avoid bleach, acetone, alcohol, Barbicide, hospital-grade disinfectants and solvent-based cleaners, as these can damage the material.
How long will my order take?
Every Hygienie Cover is made to order. Please allow 7 working days for production before dispatch. Please send your measurements within 24 hours of ordering to help avoid delays to your production time. The delivery service selected at checkout applies once your order has been completed and dispatched.
What measurements do you need?
For a Standard Treatment Couch Cover, we require the full length and width of your couch. For an Aesthetic Treatment Couch Cover, please follow our illustrated measurement guide and provide all requested measurements. We also ask for 1–2 clear photographs of your couch so we can understand its shape and any features that may affect the fit.
What if I have a split-leg treatment chair?
Please contact us and send clear photographs before ordering. Split-leg treatment chairs vary considerably in design, so we'll take a look at your individual couch and advise you on the most suitable option.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Hygienie Covers ships worldwide, and our covers are already used by professionals across the UK, Europe, the USA and beyond. International shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout. Please note that local customs charges, import duties or taxes may apply depending on your destination and order value.
Can I return my cover?
Our treatment couch covers are individually made to the measurements, colour and finish options supplied for your order. Due to the custom-made nature of these products, all sales are final. Please check your measurements carefully and contact us before ordering if you need any help. We're always happy to look at photographs, answer questions and help you choose the right option before your cover goes into production.
